Pizza Il Forno has become a favorite shortly after its first launch in 2013, and has successfully opened two new joints since. SOTO worked with Pizza Il Forno on the design of their flagship restaurant. SOTO shaped the design using the brand’s core values: accessible, fast and high quality dining experience. While creating an inviting and comfortable feeling for the space, modular tables are used to accommodate the needs of a pizzeria’s fast turnaround culture. The project sets itself apart with the jute textile installation that acts as a suspended ceiling. Lighting and handmade prints on the walls together with the combination of a rich color palette, terracotta tiles, wall texture and white painted rustic oak planks form the concept and become the main components of this dynamic, cozy and multi-layered space.
