This modern house, formed by glass and steel bearers, is an Ahmet Alatas design. Custom designed by SOTO for a young couple, Glass House is located in a very green part of Istanbul. Glass House is a three floor stand-alone villa that has 180sqm interior and 24sqm garden space. Designed as an open plan, SOTO changed the existing boundaries to create new twisted ones. New frontiers were marked by wide oak planks, which were applied horizontally on the walls. A modern, multi-functional and natural space is achieved by using a material palette that includes oxidized copper, solid wood and natural stone, on the surfaces and in custom made products.
